Its coming together!
Well I have almost completely planned a reception in just a week! Today I finished making the 20 gallons of hard lemonade, the centerpieces and started on the veggie tray. Tomorrow I have to drop off some bowls at peoples houses that are making the salads, pack my car and thats about it. Friday I get the keys to the hall and the girls are gonna go on a hike with their aunt while myself and a few of my girlfriends decorate the hall. Yesterday I also helped my sister in law finish the flowers for our wedding cake, cant wait to see how it looks all put together! I am finally starting to get excited about the reception. Now I am just waiting on our photographer to get me some of the pictures from our photo shoot on Sunday to display!
1 week to go!
I have 1 week till our reception and plan on doing almost everything tomorrow! Lots of shopping to do, organizing and then and then have to start prepping for the lemonade! But Husband has really been helping out so it should go just fine!!! We also have our photo shoot for our family on Sunday, cant wait to see how it turns out!
Slacking
So me the over planner for everything has totally been slacking on this reception. I havent even walked in our spare bedroom where all the wedding stuff is cause I dont even want to think or stress about the reception. But I finally made myself call the DJ today to confirm everything, since he has been emailing me almost every day to get everything set in stone. I think I have all the food planned, alcohol is done minus making the hard lemonade and I think I am going super minimal for decorations. And I just totally spaced on sending the rest of the money for the hall... ahhhhhh better put that in the mail tomorrow! Everyone else seems to be really excited for it. Oh and I picked up my wedding dress yesterday, I completely forgot about it but it looks great and clean!!!
Fabulous Week so far...
Well this week has went great so far... had a successful birthday party for Lei on Sunday with mine and Jim's family(cant believe she is 8 already!!!), great day at work yesterday and today Jim and I both managed to get the day off work together and went and bought my car! It is not what I expected to go up there and get but I love it! I got a Mazda 3, mostly for the gas mileage right now but it is also sooooo cute and sporty. Since we are planning on having 2 kids together plus DH 2 we will need something bigger in the future but might as well save gas while we can.
And then to make this week even better we get Riley on Saturday for 3 weeks! I took some of the gift cards I got for my birthday and bought lots of stuff for our patio, a new fire pit and plan on putting them to good use while she is here!

This has already been one of the best weekends since Vegas! Friday we went up to meet some friends how were camping and jeepin in the mountains and ended up running into snow, we got to spend a few hours with them before heading back. Saturday was AMAZING... Pike Place, Crab Pot and hanging with some of my best friends for the first half of the day and then heading out to our friends house and spending the rest of the night bbq'ing and having a fire. We didnt end up getting my new car this weekend, the rate they gave us I didnt like so we have to wait till Wednesday to see if they can get us a better interest rate. If not oh well, I found another car I like at another dealership.
Wedding related- I finally found a HUGE bag of sugar to make our hard lemonade and found a place to buy big bowls to give to people making salads.

The Big 2-6!
I am officially another year older... 26 feels so much closer to 30 than 25 did. Oh welll I think 26 will be a great year for us. It looks like I will be starting out by getting my new car this weekend! It looks like they can give us the rate and payment we wanted so unless anything changes between now and signing papers it looks like by Sunday I will have my new car! Yay, one less thing to worry about before having a baby.
I had an amazing birthday... work went good and then came home to my amazing husband and just got to hang out with him. He took me out to dinner and then we went and watched Hangover II. Not as funny as the first but still funny.
Its gonna be a great long weekend, tonight meeting up with some friends at their camping site, tomorrow Pike Place and Crab Pot with my girlfriends, then a friends bbq, Sunday signing for the car and Monday relax with my love!!!!! I am so blessed!

Weird Day!
The day started out a little scary, I got the news that my last branch and the branch I am planning on going back to soon got robbed. But not just like pass the note give me the money... it was 3 men coming in with guns throwing customers and tellers on the ground, jumping over the counters like you would see in a movie. I talked to the manager today and everyone is ok just really shaken up but reminds me how these things can happen in my line of work!
The rest of the day was pretty good, we have been on the phone with a car dealership where we found a car we like negotiating rates and payments... we should find out tomorrow if we can reach a deal, if not oh well its not meant to be. But if we can I might have a new car by the end of the month!
And finally I am so excited for tomorrow, not only is it my birthday but the only thing I want to do tomorrow is go see The Hangover II!!!!! I can not freaking wait!!!

I love my friends!
I seriously have the best friends ever! They decided to take me out to lunch for my birthday this weekend, so we are heading into Seattle and going to Pike Place market first and then we are going to the Crab Pot for lunch and spending the day in Seattle! So excited!!! Then Jim and I are heading over to some friends house for a bbq Saturday night. Even though we dont see our friends nearly enough I love spending time with all of them!
DH has baby fever!
So me having it is bad enough but Husband really wants a baby now! Saturday he went to pick up my stepdaughter from my sisters In-laws house and ended up staying there an hour and a half playing with our nephew who is turning 2 this week. Yesterday we had my nephews party and he was so excited to go play with him yesterday, its so cute! He is ready to start on a nursery and so am I... but I dont want to get high hopes if it takes to long to get prego! The past couple of weeks anytime I feel tired or a little sick he wants me to take the test!lol Oh how I love him!!! And hope it doesnt take too long!
Continuing car shoppin...
Do you know how hard it is to be car shopping and find the car you have always wanted, its in your price range and its fully loaded and not be able to look at it because gas would cost too much! I found my Yukon I wanted but have to pass by it so I can get something more economical. lame! But I think I am set on a Kia Sorento... that is unless I come across a Nissan Murano first! Looks like we might be getting my new car a little sooner since Husbands commuter car just got totaled! I emailed on a Kia today, we will see how it goes.
And the plot thickens...
So I got the phone number of the guy who hit Jim this morning and called him. I started freaking out on him and he told me he wasnt drinking and that he called the cops and gave a report at 12:30 mind you Husbands accident was at 3:45am! So after a little yelling, I tried to get his insurance info and he said he was on his way to DJ a wedding so he would call me with it tomorrow. I got his name and turns out I went to school with him, he was actually supposed to DJ our reception this summer and I ended up not going with him. So now we have to figure out how far we want to take this case...
The worst 24 hours ever!
Wow.... there are no words for how bad this past 24 hours has been! It actually started out Thursday when I found out my stepdaughter had been kicked out of school. So yesterday was spent doing paperwork to go to court to fight for full custody before she gets any worse. Yesterday came home from work and she then informed us of some stuff her mother did to her, so the rest of last night was spent in the police station. Thought everything was done for the weekend but my Husband woke up this morning at 3am to go to work and the next thing I know he walks in our bedroom at 5am covered in blood (talk about a scary thing to wake up to). He got hit by a drunk driver on his way to work and totalled the car we had just bought him, he split his head open in 2 spots, his hand is all screwed up and has small cuts everywhere but thank God it could have been so much worse! And then to top everything off the drunk driver fled the scene, only to have his license plate fall off his car at the wreck. So they say bad things come in 3's so I am hoping we are set on our bad things for the rest of the year!
However it is days like today that make you count your blessings and remember not to take things for granted... because tomorrow is never promised to us!

Gift!!!
So I came home from work yesterday to two HUGE boxes sitting in my kitchen. My In-laws bought us a new set of dishes! And I LOVE them!!! This is the one thing we didnt register for because I couldnt find any I liked. And they got me the mulit-colored set and they werent cheap! I am so excited, now everything in my kitchen is officially new!!!!
And that was just the start of a great night... Husband and I spent the entire night laughing so hard we both cried! Ahhhh how I love those little moments!

Great Sunny Day!
This morning I got our invites in the mail! I got some of the food figured out too, we are going with Spaghetti and salads. Its easy, everyone likes it and 1 less thing to worry about. Also the alcohol... and just so everyone knows it is cheaper to buy bottles of beer than a keg! So we will be making a few trips to Costco or Winco to get the beer. I decided instead of wine we are just gonna do 1 mixed drink, so we are going with Hard Lemonade since I have all the left over alcohol from my bachelorette party and dont plan on using it since we are trying to have a baby. I found a really good recipe and know just have to get 60 cups of sugar and 30 cups of lemon juice... sugar should be easy to find I dont know about the lemon juice though!!!
And to finish the day today I went rollerblading with my very soon to be cousin! Love living close to them!!! And my Husband will be home shortly from being out of town!YAY!!!

Went on my lunch break today and got all the table cloths and flowers for our reception! Now just need the table runners to finish the decorations. Hopefully by then end of the week I will have the food figured out.
I also went and looked at furniture for our family room... I found 2 sets I really like plus it is same day delivery! So I think I might have to go get them this weekend!!! And I am having lots of trouble trying to pick what kind of vehicle I want to buy... I am in love with the Nissan Murano but I found a few Audi's I love too!!! I never thought I would love a CAR or a small SUV but its a tough choice!

I got all of our wedding pictures hung today! I if I do say so myself they look fabulous!!! I also went and picked up our invites for the reception and they turned out great too. I addressed them all and now just have to buy postage and they will be in the mail!
Car Shopping
So we started car shopping for my family car, well sorta! We have been researching different small SUV's and cars and looking at seating, gas mileage, ratings and of course price. I think I really like the idea of a small SUV after looking at different options. Right now the front runners are Nissan Murano, Chevy Equinox, Saturn Vue and Kia Sorento. I have found really nice ones of all within our price range. Now its just decided when to go out and purchase it... I think we decided to trade in the Jeep on it and I really want to keep the Jeep through the summer so I can experience it with the top off!lol On the other hand I really would love to start getting even better gas mileage.
A step in the right direction
We have our cake! Husbands sister is in school for culinary arts and makes amazing cakes, she is going to be making our wedding cake! We are having a 4 tier funfetti cake!lol This was Husbands 1 request since its his favorite! It will have different fillings and be decorated like a beautiful wedding cake but all fun inside!
Our professional pictures arrived today so I also finished our invites and got them ordered. I will be working on our photo book tomorrow.

Planning the AHR
Its time I start doing some hardcore planning for the reception. I think I am set on doing a taco bar for the food, today I started looking for bulk torillas and chips. Man probably should have done some of this before the wedding. Also next week we are having a meeting with everyone to start planning my sisters shower and Bachelorette party. Gonna be a busy couple of months again. Cant wait for Memorial weekend, Husband is planning something special for my bday and cant wait to see what it is!!!
Good news!
Well the day started out great, both Husband and I had the day off so we finally got to sleep in! Then woke up to my marriage certificate arriving! So went and got my name officially changed at DOL, social security and my bank. After that I ran to the cleaners to see if they could even clean my dress, I explained to the man that even if they could it would have to cost under $100 or else I would just buy a new dress. He said most cleaners wouldnt be able to even get it cleaned but he would and he said usually he would charge over $250 but would do it for me for only $89!!! So I dont have to buy a new dress!!!!!!!!! I had a talk with the DJ too and got everything set in stone! And we also got Husband a little commuter car to help us save on gas!
What a great day, not to mention I am making my favorite dinner homemade fajitas, salsa, guacamole, peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream for dessert with a nice glass of Riesling to wash it down!

Reception Planning...
So the reception planning has begun! I had my week of relaxing... now the work has started again. I found our DJ for the wedding(and an amazing deal), found my dress and have started designing our invitations. Theres not too much to do for our reception, coordinate food with the family, order table runners/cloths, order kegs/drinks. I am ordering my dress this week and hopefully we will get the cd with our wedding photos in the mail so I can place the order for our invites... then start addressing envelopes =(. Might have to just print them out this time!
I am so glad we are taking a trip Memorial Weekend for my birthday, now that I type this all out it actually kinda sounds like a lot. Probably should have started planning sooner, oh well!!!

Bittersweet...
I dont think we are going to be able to clean and fix my wedding dress and even if we could it will cost so much money. So I started looking online for another dress to wear in our family photo shoot and at our reception. Its so sad having to find a dress to wear in place of "My dress." I think Husband is kinda sad too cause when I ask his opinion he says "I like your dress." Finally we both sat down and found a few dresses we both like, they are just really simple but beautiful and only $100! So I think I may be ordering my second dress this week.

Lakeside Weddings- I worked with Jessika and she was amazing! The whole experience after I started working with her was awesome!!! My wedding turned out better than I could have pictured. We only had the site for 30 minutes for the wedding and pictures but I didnt feel rushed at all. We had a short ceremony which I wanted and had plenty of time for pictures! The only negative I had was it was on a slight hill and I wish I would have practiced walking down in more! I used their photographer too, I got all the shots I wanted... waiting to see how they turned out. But she was really easy to work with. The minister was awesome, called me a few days before and completely customized our ceremony to us!
A Touch Of Las Vegas Day Spa- Fabulous! Probably the best massage I have ever gotten and very good price. 2 of my girlfriends went and they had the same experience and its very close to the strip!
Stevee Danielle- My hair and makeup turned out amazing! Only complaint that I had was she didnt tell me that if I wanted to pay with my debit card I had to tell them the day before. But it got worked out. But everyones hair and myself and my other BM that got makeup done LOVED it! I would highly recommend, she came right to my room and showed up early and was done fast!
Lucky Limos- Great price, however the driver was nuts! He drove about 100 mph and at one point knocked one of my bridesmaids out of her seat. They did discount my price. And said he was in a hurry cause they were booked for prom that night. Not sure I would use them again.
Shannon Sensi- AMAZING, is all I can say! The cupcakes turned out better than I could ever imagine! They looked fabulous and tasted even better! She was so easy to work with and I would recommend her OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!! Everyone loved them... not 1 complaint!!!

Good/Bad/Ugly
The Good!
Well this is almost everything! We had a blast, the weather was amazing and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL! We got in Thursday morning and I had heard over and over the court house in Vegas is always packed so we went there first. No line! It took us about 3 minutes and we were out!!! We then went and picked up tuxes for the guys there, there was lots of alterations needed so I am glad we did this first thing! Then we just hung out with our friends and family Thursday and Friday.
Saturday was so nice and relaxing! I started out the day with a massage! Highly recommended! Especially after walking the strip for the past 2 days, it helped out sooooo much! Then I went back took a bubble bath, ate some lunch and just hung out with FI’s for an hour or so before he had to head out. We exchanged letters that morning, which I loved! Husband forgot his at home so while I got my massage he had to write me a new one but its something I will keep forever, I LOVED doing this!!!! Then 2 pm the hair and makeup ladies arrived, I did the airbrush makeup and I think it turned out great!!! And it lasted all night, till past 3 am!!! Loved my hair but wish I would have done a trial… it wasn’t exactly like the picture I wanted but after we started taking pictures I fell in love with it. We were completely ready by 4 pm… wedding at 8... So we just hung out in our room and drank some mimosas. And it turned out one of my sisters friends who I invited has shot some weddings, since we only had a professional photographer for the ceremony and a short time after we took lots of pictures for us! I think they turned out great. We ended up going down to the hotel loby and shooting lots of pictures, so funny we had about 20 guys throughout the night that asked to take pictures with me.
We got to the wedding location about 7:15 did some pre wedding photos with my family, everyone got there early so we were able to start earlier! The weather was perfect at that time, not too hot or cold. Lots of white lights and I married my best friend! Our ceremony was VERY short, which is what we wanted so we could do more pictures.
We did a small in suite reception at Husbands parents condo. We did cupcakes, sandwich platters and drinks. It was perfect, cupcakes turned out AMAZING! The looked and tasted great! We were only in the room for about an hour until we decided to go out on the town, so we danced and partied at Margaritaville and then I love this Bar and Grill until 3 am then Husband and I headed back to our room to call it a night!
The rest of the trip was very relaxing, lots of laying by the pool and doing whatever we wanted!!!!
The Bad
The first our hotel- We stayed at the Luxor… would never stay there again! Horrible customer service, bad rooms, just not happy all together. The suite we reserved was supposed to be 700-800 sq ft and it was maybe 400. It was supposed to have a huge Jacuzzi tub and it was a bath tub with a few jets on the side. We were supposed to have our in suite reception here but it ended up being too small to fit everyone. The only upside to staying there was our bed was really comfy. Our friends who also stayed there had holes in their walls too. It was a nice room but not for what we paid and wasnt what was advertised.
The car- We rented a car so we could get our stuff done for the wedding. Which worked out great, however since we had a car everyone expected us to haul them around and pick them up from the airport… even though there was free shuttles. I would have made it clear we arent a taxi service.
Our Vows- We both memorized our vows… but because all the nerves we both screwed up our vows… Husband didn’t get almost anything right! It made it funny but I probably would have kept a copy of them on us to read them again.
The Place- Our wedding was amazing, the place was beautiful but it was on a slight hill walking in and I think we all about bit it once! I probably would have walked up and down it till I was comfortable!
The Ugly
My Dress- I decided to go out on the strip in my dress... by the end of the night it was digusting! The bottom was black, there were holes in it from people stepping on it. It was just gross... I was planning on getting it cleaned and wearing it to my AHR but now I dont know if it can be cleaned. If it can my MIL said she could fix the holes.
If I were to do it again I would have bought a cheap dress off of ebay and wore that out on the strip instead. Now I might be buying a cheap dress to wear to my AHR.
Other than that the night was perfect!!!!!
May 4th, 2011- I AM A MRS!!!!
We landed in Seattle late last night... nice to be home but I am missing the hot weather. The wedding was AMAZING, really no big complaints, we had a blast and everything turned out better than I could have imagined! The whole day was perfect and relaxing! I am so happy we decided to go to Las Vegas!!!! I cant wait to get all our pictures back from our photographer!!!!

Wow we leave tomorrow! Cant believe its here already!!! I will be off and running around shortly to get everything done before we leave... nails, pedicure and eyelashes first, then the bank to withdraw money, tanning, lunch with one of my best friends, home, finish packing, pick up the house, take our dog to our friends house and then bed! And 3 am wake up tomorrow to head to the airport! Its going to be a great week and I cant wait for all that is to come!!!

April 26th, 2011-4 Days to Go!
Our first guests fly out tonight for Vegas. Also all of FI's family that is driving are leaving today too! And its my last day of work, hopefully I can make it through the 8 hours. I made my envelopes and filled them with the tips for the vendors. Hopefully I tipped correctly!!! I think its starting to hit me... I barely slept last night, there is just so much that was running through my head about the wedding. Hopefully tonight and tomorrow I sleep better!
I had a great night last night... came home to a clean kitchen, dishes done (AND PUT AWAY) and then FI and I made dinner together! Love cooking with him! Getting really excited for tomorrow, cant wait to see my eye lashes!!! Not to mention a day of pampering!!!

April 25th, 2011- 5 Days to Go!
Its just a waiting game now... everything packed, everything ready to go, just need to get to Wednesday so I can get my nails and eyelashes done! I am trying and trying my best to concentrate at work but it just isnt working too good! So much excitement in our house right now!!!!
April 24th, 2011- 6 Days to Go!
Happy Easter! I will be spending today with one of my stepdaughters, of course FI and family! After our Easter celebrations we have to finish packing and pick up our house. 4 days till we leave!!!!
I got everything packed... well except the things that we have to wait till Wednesday to throw in! We dropped off the boxes that are being drove down today. Now just have to get through Monday and Tuesday at work, then Wednesday I have all my appointments (nails, pedicure, tanning, eyelashes) and Vegas Thursday!!!
Oh and I started my teeth whitening today... I looked up online the best way to whiten teeth and I say multiple times to do 1 tsp baking soda, dash of salt and a few drops of vinegar, mix and then brush with it. Then brush with your regular tooth paste. I have noticed a big difference already and I am gonna do it every day till we leave!

Now just have to get through Monday and Tuesday at work, then Wednesday I have all my appointments (nails, pedicure, tanning, eyelashes) and Vegas Thursday!!!
Oh and I started my teeth whitening today... I looked up online the best way to whiten teeth and I say multiple times to do 1 tsp baking soda, dash of salt and a few drops of vinegar, mix and then brush with it. Then brush with your regular tooth paste. I have noticed a big difference already and I am gonna do it every day till we leave!

I cant believe we are down to 1 week... 5 days till we leave! I dont believe I have any big wedding stuff going on today except my waxing appointment.
April 22nd, 2011- 8 Days to Go!
I am coloring my hair today, nothing major just going over the color to give it more shine. I also got another picture of another cupcake trial (see page Lucky in Love for pics), I love this one so much more than the first!!! I think I am going to buy a new pair of jeans for Vegas today too!
Our wedding coordinator emailed me today and gave me instructions for our bridesmaids and groomsmen, so now they all know their jobs and directions for the wedding. FI also made his list of a few things we need to buy before we finish packing on Sunday. We picked our drinks we are going to have at our reception, I think we are going with something light. And I keep getting emails from my friend making the cupcakes of different things she is trying, they are going to be perfect I cant wait to see them!

1 week till we are sitting in Vegas!!! No wedding stuff today. But last night I did get a picture of the trial run for our cupcakes, she is still playing with them but they look great! I cant wait to eat one!!!
April 20th, 2011- 10 Days to Go!
Wow, down to 10 days till our wedding, it still hasnt hit me that its so close! No big wedding news or events today, just working and still sick. So once I am done at work, I am heading straight home and going to sleep! I think I might get some smaller bills to take to Vegas for tipping and might get a cashiers check made for our wedding license and thats about the extent of excitement here!
April 19th, 2011- Part II
Well I got almost everything packed! And it turns out I might be able to fit almost everything in one big bag and a carry-on! The only thing left to pack I have to wait till last minute such as makeup, hair stuff, jewelry and other stuff I use every day! So much for that nap... but I think the meds are starting to kick in because I am feeling sooo much better already!
Oh and I booked a photo shoot with our family in June, I will be wearing my wedding dress, Jim all dressed up and the girls in their flower dresses. Even though the girls wont be at the actual wedding I still want photos of all of us. Now just to find the location to shoot them!
And just cancelled and booked another massage, found one for half the price! So my MOH, one of my friends and I are going to all get massages wedding day!

April 19th, 2011- 11 Days to Go!
I got a call yesterday that the one hour photo machine at Walmart had crashed, so I wasnt able to get my guest book. But it should be ready for pickup today! I am headed to the DR's this morning in hopes that she can give me something to kick this cold, its getting worse!
So I went to the Dr's got some antibiotics to make this cold go away fast! Then headed and picked up my photo book, it turned out amazing!!!! Also grabbed some chalk, tweezers and a few odds and ends that I need for my emergency wedding day kit! I also got a letter box to put all the letters to FI in that I have been saving since we first started dating to give him on our wedding day!
Now time to relax in a hot bath and take a nap so I can start letting this medicine work!
Oh and on another happy note... FI told me he memorized his vows yesterday! Wow with a little over a week and a half to spare, I am impressed!!!!

Got the email that our Photo Book Guest book is done and ready to be picked up! Other than that nothing new, except I woke up with a cold. So I ran to the store picked up everything possible to make it go away and am crossing my fingers its sooner rather than later!!!
April 17th, 2011- 13 Days to Go!
Well we are down under 2 weeks till the wedding! I thought I would be getting anxious or nervous but nothing! I am just anxious to get into some warm weather! No big wedding news today, however yesterday I did email and call all my vendors to confirm everything. I made sure I didnt have to supply anything for my hair or makeup, confirmed delivery time and what I need to do for setup if anything for the wedding. I did decide I want to come up with a creative guest book for everyone to sign in Vegas... not sure what yet but I am thinking either a mat to a picture frame or maybe an old vinyl record. I guess I can figure that out this week.
It was kinda nice today not having anything wedding related to do, it gave FI and me a chance to hangout and spend some much needed us time together! We did some yard work(it finally stopped raining today!), shopping and went out to lunch, then later we are taking a hike. He was telling me how excited he was for the wedding... so cute, I love him!!!

Wow I thought the closer to the wedding it would get I would have more to talk about but all the planning is really done. I memorized my vows yesterday with the help of my step-daughter. I also got the CD burned finally and packed a little more.
On another note... this morning reminded me of just a few reasons I love Jim. Woke up to breakfast, dishes done and kitchen cleaned. Love that he helps out around the house!!!
Today was our last day with my step-daughter and we just took her back... our house is sooooo quiet now! I hate it, time to try and fill it!!! And I was right this week flew by WAY, WAY TOO FAST! Miss her already!

Well since we decided to go out to dinner last night I didnt get a chance to burn the CD. So I will do that today and I am also going to try and finish up what packing I can do now. And might take a shot at memorizing my vows!!!
April 14th, 2011- 16 Days to Go! 2 weeks till we leave!!!
I am officially done with EVERYTHING, for the wedding and with 2 weeks to spare! Well minus finishing to pack, I started though! I made my bridesmaid bouquets and ripped my bouquet apart and started over! I am glad I did because I love it so much more now!!! Tonight I will burn the music I have saved, its the music for the guests to be seated too. And then in the next 2 weeks all I have to do is pack!!! I ventured out of the house today and used my GC's from my bachelorette party to Victoria Secret and got some amazing perfume, wedding panties and a few other things!!! I will post pictures of all the bouquets later tonight!

April 13th, 2011- 17 Days to Go!
I started packing today! Ohhh talk about stressful, even though I have my list I feel like I am gonna forget something! I looked up the baggage rules for Alaska Air and I had to measure our bags to make sure we werent going to pay any extra for the size of them... I am safe by 2 inches! Today I sent out my Thank Yous for my bachelorette party and the gifts I am still receiving from my shower! I also got our transportation to and from the airport lined up and gave them all of our flight information. Starting to feel a little more real now that I am packing our stuff up!!!

Not much big wedding news today... just finishing some laundry so I can start packing tomorrow! Also gonna make a trip to the mall to pick up some last minute things. I also got the wedding processional order figured out!
April 11th, 2011- 19 Days to Go!
I am stressing out lately because I have nothing to do for the wedding really. I thought it would be nice to just sit back and enjoy this last month and not have to worry about anything... however I feel like I am gonna miss something and should not be this relaxed!lol There are a few small things that need done but I will be wrapping those up this week. I have went over my To-Do list about 100 times and looks like I got it all covered. We are now down to 17 days till we leave and I am on vacation this week so it should fly by!
April 10th, 2011- 20 Days to Go!
I've been getting some good family time today! Made cupcakes with the girls and we are gonna be having a tea party when Grandma gets here! No wedding news today however since we wont be taking any big vacations this year, we decided we want to take the girls to Disneyland next year. They will be good ages 5 and 8, they are so excited. I started pricing trips and it looks like it will be right around $2,000. I have never been to Disneyland, so I am really excited too! Just have to decide which month now... as long as I wont be 8-9 months prego it should be fun!
April 9th, 2011- 21 Days to Go!
Went tanning this morning and got my hair cut. I had been wanting to get it cut but was trying to decide if I wanted to wait till after the wedding but it was driving me nuts so I cut about 3-4 inches off. The stylist said it was still plenty long enough for the updo I want!
Riley comes today too, however he flight got bumped and now wont be here till 5pm. =( I feel so bad for her and Lei, they only get to see each other a few times a year and she was so disappointed we couldnt go pick her up this morning. Gonna have to make the most out of our week with her!
Note- It SNOWED in Las Vegas today! WTH... The weather looks like its supposed to warm up and be in the high 80's almost 90's but I am hoping this crazy weather there stops!!!

3 weeks from today we will be in Vegas, and thank God... it is snow/raining right now... I need some hot weather! Another huge check off my list I just paid off our pictures! Yay. Now the only thing that needs paid for well besides my hair, makeup and massage is the limo but they wont take payment till the day of the wedding, however I think I might try and get them to let me pay it off before so I dont have to stress about getting it done that day. Also we are getting a new roof on our house today!
April 6th, 2011- 24 Days to Go!
I have been doing nothing but thinking about the wedding lately... I cant concentrate on anything else! I cant wait for my week off next week to start packing. Riley and I are gonna be getting lots of wedding stuff acomplished. I still have to make my bridesmaid bouquets and book my waxing appointment. I aslo have a dentist appointment next week to get my teeth cleaned. It doesnt help me any that I keep getting emails a couple times a day from people who are coming saying how they are so excited and planning stuff to do while there. I think this time around in Vegas its gonna be a lot more laid back then the last time I was there, I want to do lots of laying by the pool, at least 1 spa day and one or two romantic dinners out, of course Margaritaville and Dicks the restaurant not the burger place. Jim's starting to get excited too, every time we go to the store he wants to buy new clothes for the trip... he is gonna have about 12 outfits for our 5 days!lol
And I finally figured out transportation to and from the wedding! So the guys are gonna take our rental car to the wedding, while my bridesmaids, my dad, stepmom, sister and brother in law and myself take the limo. Then after the wedding all the bridal party will take the limo back to our suite and my dad will drive our rental car back with my step mom, sister and brother in law! Works perfectly... that way I wont see FI until the wedding!!!

25 days to go! And just found out I dont have to pick up our cupcakes, she will be delivering them to our suite that day! Yay one less thing for me to stress about on our wedding day. It should be a fairly relaxing day... start out in the spa, hang by the pool, lunch with the girls and then hair and makeup in our room sipping some wine or champagne! Now if I can just get through the next 11 days of work I will be set!!!

Did some serious bra and panties shopping today! With some of the gift cards I got this weekend and decided to get a whole new undergarment wardrobe! And I still havent used any of the Victoria Secret gift cards, so might have to use those for some cute lingerie for the wedding! I also picked up some of the misc. items that I needed for our trip. I cant believe we will be in Vegas in less than 24 days!!! And I will be starting vacation Saturday, then once I return back to work a week and a half and then off to warm weather! And I took all the decorations, penises and lanterns down so my house is almost back to normal!Yay

Well the bachelorette party is over and all I can say is thank God we only have 1 of them because I would not have survived another! I think I had lots of fun, at least thats what I am told! I dont remember almost anything from last night! I need about a week to recover. But I got some great presents and everyone had a blast! Lots of new lingerie, some great things from the Passion party, lots of gift cards to Victoria Secret! Gonna have lots of good things to take to Vegas for the wedding! ;)

Today's my bachelorette party!!!! 25 girls have RSVP'ed, so it should be lots of fun! My MOH #1 came over last night and set everything up, there are penis's everywhere!!! I am sure FI loves that!lol And I just found out today there will probably be another wedding happening while we are in Vegas, one of my friends might be eloping!!!! Love is in the air! And to top everything off Jim comes home last night with the sweetest card ever and wrote me a long letter! LOVE HIM!!!

I AM GETTING MARRIED THIS MONTH!!!! And started off the day by booking my massage the morning of the wedding! I just decided to book it at the Luxor spa so I dont have to run around that day looking for the place. It is at 9 am, I am hoping thats not to early! I figure it will be a great way to start off the day! Now all that is left to book is my waxing appointment. And I am so excited my bachelorette party is tomorrow!!! Ok so, sooooooo much bachelorette party talk tonight! I would be on the phone for an hour with my MOH the second I hung up the phone it would ring again... over and over! My MOH, my sister, my brother in law, then my MOH again all about the bachelorette party! Sister was planning games, appetizers, drinks. Then my MOH called and is planning more drinks, appetizers, passion party, setting up, my hair. Then my Brother in Law who is one of our bartenders was asking me about drinks and he is making a mix on his Ipod so questions about that! I didnt have any time to just sit tonight for 2 seconds... but I am so excited for Saturday after all these talks!

Its our 3 year anniversary today!!! Kind of bitter sweet though because its our last "dating" anniversary! From here on out it will be wedding anniversaries!!!! Going out to dinner tonight at one of my favorite restaurants, nothing big! And I bought my wedding clutch last night, I cant wait to get it!!!!

So I made a few phone calls to our hotel today to find out about getting extra glasses and plates for our reception and I also had a few questions about our room that I got answered. Then I emailed a few limo companies to try and decided what company we want to use. I am trying to think of every single thing that will need to be done either before we leave or once we arrive and get as much of that taken care of now... so hopefully it will be smooth sailing for the wedding! I also joined a Las Vegas wedding board to get some great tips from some of the girls who are planning the same kind of wedding. I already have received info on our wedding location, the only downside it seems is there is hills. If thats the only downfall I think I can handle it!

Great family day today, just wish the last member of our family was here to share in the fun! We went roller skating today! This time fiance tried out some rollerblades... and LOVED them! We are starting to shop to buy some for us so we can use them on the trail next to our house this summer! It was for a birthday party for one of the girls in my stepdaughters class, so I got to meet lots of parents tonight! So much fun!!!!!

Well no wedding news today but had the best surprise when I got home from work! It reminded me why I love my family so much, my oldest stepdaughter made me a clover in school and on the envelope it said I love you all over it and the clover read "Tiffany you are a really really good step mom, I love you!" Ahhh my heart melted and it reminded me that even though there are one or two downsides of being a step mom there is soooooo many things that out way any negatives! I love my family more than anything!!!! And wouldnt change my life for ANYTHING!!!!!!!

I went and picked up the guys' hats today from being embroidered! They turned out so good, fiance did a great job designing them! I also picked up my Bride Hoodie and Bride makeup bag! Today I will also be printing up the drink cards for our bartenders since my MOH doesnt have a printer! 1 week till my bachelorette party!!! And only 5 days till our 3 year anniversary, I think we just decided to do dinner nothing big since its on a Tuesday and we are at the end of our wedding planning! But this will be our last dating anniversary we have, then we get to start celebrating our wedding anniversary!!!!

I got a sudden urge to make my bouquet today, I was planning on waiting till I got to Vegas and buying fresh flowers and making them. But for whatever reason, I went and bought real touch flowers and made it, I do like the fact that I will be able to keep it forever and will be able to use it at the reception too. It defiantly wasnt to save money though, I could have bought 2 bouquets for the price it cost to make this one! But I love it, it doesnt look fake at all and I think it will be amazing for the wedding. Now I just have to find the flowers to make my bridesmaids.

I just faxed off my final payment for the wedding! Yay!!!!!!! We transfered our money to put in savings for our spending money in Vegas and got our savings built back up!!! Now all thats left to do is pay for our pictures, which isnt a very big payment and pay for the limo... all which I could do today but havent decided yet on which package to go with! And it turns out we have an extra check that we will be receiving in a few weeks, that was very unexpected! Good things really do happen to good people, we are so blessed! 6 weeks from tomorrow I will be marrying my best friend! Oh and this month is our 3 year anniversary!!!

I finished making our playlist for when our guests are being seated, all my favorite country love songs! I think I could just play it over and over... a little Brad Paisley, George Strait, Lady A, Darrius Rucker and of course Garth! And looked at the calendar today and it turns out in April I get 3 pay days! Yay!!! What a great month for that to happen! Good things just kept happening all day today... one of my best friends works for a wholesaler for restaurants and is getting all our mixers for my bachelorette party for free! Even though I am not allowed to pay for anything its nice knowing my MOH and friends dont have to worry about that! I can not believe how close the wedding is, under a month and a half away! And to top it all off and make it go by faster I will be on a week vacation in between, my stepdaughter will be up here from TX and I have my bachelorette party! Its gonna fly by!!!!

I got a call today that my bridesmaids dresses and shoes arrived, a month early! I also booked my appointment for my dress steaming once we arrive in Las Vegas to get out any wrinkles that it gets while on the plane. On another note I am having some serious baby fever and so is fiance! I dont know if its because all of my friends that are pregnant or with all my friends that just had babies coming around or just knowing that we are starting to try to conceive. I finally got almost all my gifts from my bridal shower put away. I have a whole new kitchen pretty much... I got rid of all my old miss matched pots, pans, bowls, and everything else and have very nice, new and matching stuff now!!!! I was looking at our registry today and realized I got almost everything we wanted on there and we havent even had our wedding yet. So we are gonna have to find another place to register at. Maybe an outdoor sporting good store for camping stuff. I also just finished and mailed off all of the 'Thank You's'! I am still getting emails, calls and texts from girls at my party saying this was the best bridal shower they have ever been to... my Maid of Honor did an amazing job!

Bridal Shower... AMAZING!!! Everything turned out better than I could have even imagined, lots of friends and family. Lots of amazing food, cupcakes and drinks and tons of great presents! I have been to quite a few bridal showers and this one tops them all from the decorations to all the small details it was a hit! I seriously dont have one complaint... it all went smooth and without a hitch! Great day!!!!

50 days till the wedding!!!!! My bridal shower is tomorrow, so I will post how that goes sometime this weekend!

A little tip to anyone having a DW, make sure that you let people know in order to find your registry they have to put in the state or place you are getting married at. I have receive 5 calls in the last couple of days because people were trying to find it under WA but since we are getting married in NV thats what they have to use in the search.

The house is decorated and the girls have almost everything done for my Bridal Shower! All the decorations look amazing!!!! And 40 people have RSVP'ed so its gonna be one full house!!!! 6 days till the Bridal Shower, 3 weeks till the bachelorette party and 55 days till the wedding! Fiance decided he wanted to wear a baseball hat for the wedding so we ordered hats for all the guys and we are getting them custom embroidered! I love the idea and think its totally our style! And come to find out... all the guys in our wedding party have HUGE heads, glad to see my fiance isnt the only one with an extremly large head!!! We are now working on the details for transportation to and from the wedding.

Biggest freak out moment of the whole planning process today... I have been trying to contact my wedding coordinator for the past couple of weeks so we can pay off our wedding. Finally today her manager emailed me and said she had no record of our wedding and it wasnt booked! After stressing out for about an hour and working with her everything is straightened out. And the good news is since we had trouble they are giving us a $500 discount! So everything worked out!!!! Ahhhhhh

60 days to go... marriage license application submitted! And I just deep cleaned the house and cleared out our family room so we can fit all the table and chairs for my parties! I dont know what to do now... EVERYTHING is done! I guess work on fun things to do while we are in Vegas a couple of friends want us to go with them on the Eldorado Canon ATV Gold Mine Tour! And then Jim and I are gonna take a day by ourselves to go to Lake Havasu and rent some jetskis!

My sister and I decorated my cupcake stand today, it turned out amazing! However I am scared to take it on the plane with me, I dont want it to get ruined! So I think I will either send it with some of FI's family who is driving down to Vegas so it makes it in one piece or just use it for the bridal shower and find another one to take to the wedding. I am also really excited my sister came up with the idea to get two guys to be bartenders for my bachelorette party, so us girls dont have to mix our own drinks! I thing it is a genius idea and I am sure the guys will have fun with 30+ girls!!!! I also just bought a new swimsuit for Vegas, I wanted a strapless swimsuit so I dont get tan lines before the wedding!!! Its down to almost 60 days and I have almost nothing left to do for the wedding... so I started working on the reception!!!! I am pondering the idea of a fireworks show, since it will be the weekend of the 4th of July. I think I will be posting a lot more since it is getting so close to the wedding!!!

Great and productive day! I decided to upgrade our room instead of the spa suite I decided to go with the 1 bedroom luxury suite! I also booked and paid for our rental car and finalized our cupcakes and sent off the check for them! I tried to contact our wedding coordinator to get our pay off amount for our wedding but I havent got a hold of her yet... so once I do our wedding will be completely paid for! So once the wedding is paid for we will be done!!! Well besides buying Jim's luggage and his grooms men gifts. YAY! I also rewarded myself and bought a really nice camera, since mine has been broken and we have all these events coming up I felt it was time to splurge!!! And while I was out shopping my fiance took his oldest daughter to her first Father/Daughter dance!

I am so lucky and have been so blessed with an amazing fiance! This past weekend he decided we needed a date night and planned the whole thing, then yesterday we had a snow day and I got a massage and lots of cuddling, tonight he decides he wanted to make me dinner and clean the whole house! I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him, only 65 days!!!! This weekend I will be decorating and customizing our cupcake stand and getting our house all ready for my parties! I have to empty out our family room so there is room to bring in all the chairs and tables. Its getting so close, we have 5 days till we can apply for our marriage license!!!

I have just about everything done for the wedding... Having a few days off this week I have gotten lots accomplished! We went and bought my step daughters dress for the reception, finalized the cupcake order and got my bridesmaids gifts bought! Saturday I am going to my dress fitting and having the bustle put in the dress and my bridesmaids are going to pick out their dresses! Once that is all done we will just have a few minor details to finish! I think with all that is done I actually might be able to sit back and relax the month before the wedding!Yay!!! Also this past week we have been talking a lot about baby planning... we are trying to decide when to start "trying" wait till after the wedding or start before....

Yay we booked and paid for our trip today... I am glad we waited because we ended up saving $200 prices dropped Wednesday!!! It must have been meant to be because not even a hour after we booked prices shot back up! We ended up booking at the Luxor and got one of their best suites so we can have a small reception there after the wedding! Ahhh that was the last big thing that needed done... now only 85 days to go!!!!

What a great start to the weekend... took my oldest stepdaughter and went and got manicures and pedicures and then went dress shopping for her flower girl dress for our reception! She was soooo excited and in 2 weeks we get to go dress shoppin with my youngest! Much needed girl time, think I might start making this a regular thing!!! We also found the nail salon that we are gonna use for my bachelorette party! Its the salon we went to this morning they gave our sparkling cider and pampered us!!!! And tomorrow my Maid Of Honors and sister are coming over to finalize their plans and put everything together for my parties!!!

Today was a very successful day... We booked our venue for our reception (and it was the hall I had been hoping for) and we both finished writing our vows! We decided to push our reception back so my stepdaughter can be here for it! So our reception will be almost 2 months to the day from when we get back from Vegas, which will be plenty of time to do all the decor, food and flowers! And a big check off our list for finishing our vows!!! Together we wrote basics for our vows and then individually customized them and decided not to show each other the finished vows... I cant wait to hear what fiancé came up with!!! I think just about everything is done for the wedding besides appetizers and a cake for the reception! So now that we have a venue for the reception time to start planning that!

I can not even put into words how amazing my life has been the past 3 to 4 months! Its like everything that could go right and that I wished would happen has! It all started when we moved into our new amazing home, and now wedding planning is going great! We have been so blessed and I always have been but when things go right for us... they go REALLY right! I got the promotion I had wanted for the past 2 years and it couldnt have came at a better time and included a huge raise! Fiance and I have had the best couple of months in our entire relationship he has truely turned into my best friend and I couldnt imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else. I think one of the only things to make this all better is to win the lotto... It is only 100 days from today till our wedding and what an exciting 100 days to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe how many things we have gotten done for the wedding in the last couple of days! Today we bought fiancés tux and picked out all the other guys' tuxes! He also decided he wanted to wear a hat with his tux so he found a hat he loved and we ordered that. I got my wedding lingerie in the mail the other day! We are getting tons of RSVP's in the mail. Went to a party store today and got a couple small wedding things. I have ordered tons of clothes for Vegas!!! Also lots paid for... I figure better now than stressing about it closer to the wedding! I have recently discovered how amazing Ebay is... I have got such great deals on there!!! Highly recommend every bride to use ebay and save lots of $$$! We are down to about 3 months till the wedding and I think I will have everything done very shortly!!!

I just got my first bad news of the year and I think since we started planning the Vegas wedding.... I got an email today with Garth Brooks concert dates and he is only doing one weekend in April and none in May. So I wont be able to go and see him while we are there, however I think we are going to see him later this year! On a more positive note I got a call that I got my promotion at work and start tomorrow! I felt like I was in the NFL draft, there was 3 stores fighting over me and I was in the middle of a bidding war! So that kinda makes up for the dissapointing news of Garth! And we have also been looking at new cars for me! Fiance is ready to turn my jeep into a wheeler and I am ready to get a SUV back, so we are looking at smaller SUV's that get better gas mileage than my last and that will be safe for a new baby!!!

Well I had jury duty today and got released early so I decided to do some wedding shoppin'! I got my wedding jewelry and 1 gift for all of my bridesmaids! I also stopped by the hall for our reception to meet with the manager! Hoping I can get almost everything done very soon so March and April I can relax and enjoy everything!!!

Check, Check, Check... the last couple of days I have checked quite a few things off of my wedding to-do list! One of my maid of honors and myself made my wedding invites and mailed them out (check out my DIY page for pictures), wedding lingerie is ordered and on its way, wedding parties dates are set and being planned as I type, wedding booked. I had lunch and spent the day with one of my maid of honors yesterday and got lots done... today I am having dinner with my other maid of honor and hearing all about the plans for my bachelorette party!!! I could never have imagined that 2011 was going to be as amazing as it has been so far!!!

I can not believe how everything is coming together for this wedding... we went from 2 days ago not having anything booked or really planned for the wedding to in 2 weeks being completly done and having everything booked, planned and paid for!!! The wedding coordinator called me today and our wedding is booked... so April 30th at 8 PM we will be getting married at the place we both fell in love with! Never ever thought about having a late wedding... but I saw pictures of this place at night and its stunning, plus we are in Vegas and why not have a late wedding! I am so unbelievably happy and so is my fiance! He is so proud that he picked the place!!!! Also I think Garth Brooks tickets will be going on sale soon and hopefully I can get tickets for while we are in Vegas to see him, that would just make our time in Vegas even more special to me!!! I have been looking for invitatons I like and cant seem to find any that are just perfect, so I may be heading out to the store today and gonna start designing them! Also, I think I have decided to design my wedding jewelry too!!!! Ahhh, I am just on top of the world right now!!!

I am getting very anxious and excited… my Maid Of Honors have set the date for my wedding shower and bachelorette party!!! Wooohooo… it is going to be a very, very exciting couple of months coming up! Dress shopping with my bridesmaids, all my wedding parties and get to start practicing for a baby!!! My Maids of Honors are coming over and having lunch this week cause they want to start planning my parties! I have been so blessed and truly have the best girl friends ever!!!! And to top it all off I have the most amazing fiance EVER, he has been so sweet lately and just been the icing on the cake! What a great New Years this will be!!!

I made some changes to the wedding party today… since we set our wedding party before we decided to go away and get married not everyone is gonna be able to attend the wedding including my Maid Of Honor. When I first picked my MOH it was such a tough choice there were 2 girls I had the hardest time choosing between. So today I decided to ask one of my bridesmaids to be my second MOH! She will be going to Vegas with us, has been one of my best friends for about 10 years and I am so excited she accepted! They will both be planning my wedding shower and bachelorette party together! So now I will have someone there with me in Vegas to help with all those little tasks that a MOH usually helps with and 2 MOH’s to celebrate with at our reception!

Well Christmas is over... It was a great Christmas very relaxing and nice to have both our families over to our new house all together! Only downside we really missed having our girls here to share in the time with! But next year we will get both of the girls for a week and will have lots of Christmas festivities, parties to attend and will get to wake up to Santa with our whole family! It will be a very special Christmas... married, our whole family together and hopefully a special little surprise!!!! But on a wedding note... it was so nice to have every member of the family here last night saying they were gonna be going to Vegas with us!!! I am still in shock with how many people are gonna be going! Might be having a little bigger wedding than we thought. The at home reception will also be changing, we have found a few halls that we like and will most likely be renting one of them for our reception!

Well the date is set... APRIL 30TH, 2011!!!! We have just over 100 days to get everything ready, plan and book everything! Our family and friends have already started booking their trips, I can not believe how many people are gonna take the trip to be there while we are getting married! My maid of honor started planning my wedding shower and bachelorette party, its gonna be a busy couple of months but I couldnt be happier we decided to push it up!!! Well time to relax and cuddle up with my Fiance, we have both sides of the family coming over to our new house tomorrow to spend Christmas all together!!!!!

I think we found the place we are gonna get married at in Vegas! I gave Jim the computer to find a place he like and 5 minutes later he showed it to me.... And craziness I found the same one about a day earlier and I had fell in love with it!!! Its beautiful, defiantly not what you would picture for a Vegas wedding, not anything close to an Elvis wedding in a cheesy chapel... its next to a beautiful lake, with willow trees draping over the entire place, its full of greenery and so romantic!!! After showing one of my friends she said we were not allowed to change our wedding anymore... "that is the place you two are getting married, conversation over!" Haha I agree! I emailed them and they have lots of openings for April and May!!!!! I started looking at trips and we will be booking everything in January!!!! We also found an amazing honeymoon suite that is huge and beautiful so I think we will be staying there and having our reception there after the wedding. Just something simple, probably dinner, drinks and of course a wedding cake (actually cupcakes)!!!! Still sad we wont be on a beach... but the next best thing lakeside with lots and lots of family and friends!!!

Well we still haven't decided what to do yet with our wedding, we have been having some much needed family time and getting all settled in our new home! But we have both decided we are about tired of wedding planning and are leaning towards having a Las Vegas wedding! I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever want to run off to Vegas and get married but I am seriously sick of wedding stuff and I think that would just be perfect right now! They have weddings for every style and price and our family and friends seem to LOVE the idea! We are gonna wait till the begining of the year to book anything or pick a place for sure but once we do the wedding will only be a month or two away!!!!

Well I didnt think it would happen again and didnt want to think about changing it again but with the serious problems that have been going on in Mexico we had to cancel our Cancun wedding. We got some insiders news last week from my step-mom who works for the government that 17 people had just been killed in Mexico including the head police officer in Cancun, these drug wars going on down there just seem to be getting worse. And lots of our family and friends were having second thoughts about attending our wedding because of it... So we decided we didnt want to risk anyone getting hurt or being affraid to attend our wedding so we thought the best idea was to cancel Cancun. We are still up in the air with what we are gonna do now, we have a few places picked out in Washington but nothing set yet. We are also still considering a destination wedding but somewhere a little closer for everyone to travel, we really have no idea whats going on with our wedding all we know is we are getting married sometime in the next 4-8 months probably more like April we are talking now! Agghhhhh which means less planning time but so excited to get it over with so we can start working on making our family bigger!!!!

Crazy couple of days... Me and Jim have been talking lots about our not so future plans and having been doing lots of baby planning. So we decided to move! The house we were in wasn't big enough especially since we plan on adding a few more kids shortly after the wedding! So Sunday we started looking, Monday we found this house and today we signed the contract! Even better news, in a year or so the owners are gonna sell us the house for a great deal if we decide we want it! So wedding plans are on hold for a month or so till we get all packed up and moved in! We get the keys November 19th! Cant wait!!!!

Well we are down under 9 months till go!!!! And got a few more checks off of our To-Do List! With the help of Jim we were able to make most of our rustic signs for our at home reception. I also got a few things for the guest OOT bags and some other goodies for me! I am very excited because a few of our friends have taken the first steps in booking their trip to join us in Cancun! Its getting closer and closer and I am starting to feel a little behind and need to get on the ball soon!!!

Well what a great week so far Jim's daughter that lives in Texas is up here staying with us this week and we have had some much needed family time! We had a girls day yesterday and went and got pedicures and manicures with some sparkling cider! So much fun! And we have been putting off booking our hotel and air to Mexico cause it keeps going up =( Well thanks to the help of some girls of the DW boards on the knot one of the girls who is getting married at Moon Palace recommended Beach Bum Vacations. So I finally got in touch with them and booked our trip!!!!!!! So excited, its such a big weight lifted off my shoulders and she has been so helpful, she has done lots of weddings at Our resort in the past so she is soooo informative! Thanks bethie for the info! I also found the place that is going to make our bouquests! I decided to go with real touch flowers, that way I can keep my bouquet and bring it to our AHR! I also finished the personalized hangers for my bridesmaids, myself and my FI!
On a different note... still waiting on my ring to get back =( Hopefully I will have it back this week sometime!

Well its been a great start to the week so far, Jim and I got to have some fun this weekend by heading over to Eastern WA for a concert and spending some much needed time not talking about the wedding or anything serious and just having fun together! But we got back Sunday and at work today I found out I got the promotion I had been wanting! Which means a raise and closer comute! It also means more help paying for the wedding!!!!!!!!!! On a not so good note, I looked at prices for Our trip to Mexico and they went up $100 from last week, I hope they will go back down by this weekend when we are booking our trip! But I am very excited more of my friends and family have told me they are going to the wedding, cant believe the amazing people in my life that would make the trip so far to see us get married!
I also had to send my ring off today to the jewelers, the center stone was starting to get a little loose and I wasnt taking any chances having it fall out! I hope I get it back soon, I have a fill in ring to wear in the mean time but its not the same!!!
Well thats about it for now, time to have dinner and a movie with my FI and celebrate the great news!!!
